December 2nd [Updated]

Thanks for your answers! So far I have received 9 answers whereof 2 are correct. I still delay them past midnight to adjust for the time difference.

Today it's thriller time: Don Siegel's The Black Windmill (1974) has a tight color concept if not much else.

What color is the enamel of the Mini Cooper in this shot? A, B, C, or D?

A                       B                      C                      D

Update: The answer is B. More on that later on.

A. The mini cooper has a wider range of shades that would require it to be a blue or red hue. I have also never seen a green or gold base colored mini cooper. I am not going with red because it would compete with the woman in the shot (her dress being red). That only leaves option A, blue.

tough call...I think I'll say d, it's the least distracting of the woman and fits the blandness of the rest of the scene, haha.

Here goes another guess.. D!

If this film has a tight color concept, as you say, nothing distracting should come between the two characters (a cool navy-blue man and a fiery red woman). Just like the car next to the man is neutral and blends in with the street, the mini cooper should have a non-intrusive color.

That eliminates A and C. B seems too light, and would give a lighter shade of grey when desaturated. So my guess is D.
